Wright Spearheads ASJA Corporate Copywriting Panel at Manhattan Conference

November 2007~ Suzanne Wright has been asked to moderate and speak at the "Getting & Keeping Corporate Clients" session at the April 2008 conference of the American Society of Journalists and Authors in New York.  The conference attracts nearly 1,000 working professionals from across the U.S.   Wright is responsible for developing content for the two-hour session, working with panelists and generating publicity for the session.


Wright Participates in Emory University Panel

November 2007 ~ Suzanne Wright participated in a panel at Emory University called "Careers in Freelance Writing."  She spoke about her successful career in freelance writing and answered questions from undergraduate students and alumni.    


Wright Leads Children in Writing Exercise

November 2006 ~  Suzanne Wright addressed a group of 8th graders at Inman Middle School during a recent one-hour writing workshop.  In addition to telling the children about being a professional writer--and what that entails, from idea generation to self-promotion--she developed a short writing exercise that allowed students to tap into their creativity and facilitate their writing skills.

February 2006 ~ Suzanne Wright addressed the Atlanta Chapter of the Public Relations Society, Hospitality and Travel sector in March 2006. Wright was part of a four-person panel that shared the issues and challenges writers face when working on travel-related stories.


Wright Selected for Inclusion in 2006 Writer's Planner

January 2006 ~ Suzanne Wright has had a submission accepted to the 2006 addition of Bylines, a weekly planner that helps writers keep track of deadlines, log daily accomplishments, set personal writing goals and plan for success. Suzanne Wright Tapped as Panelist at Kennesaw State University’s First-Ever "Home Advantage: Freelance Writing" Seminar

January 26, 2002 ~ Suzanne Wright of Write2 Inc. was part of a six-person expert panel for the "The Home Advantage: Freelance Writing" Seminar held at Kennesaw State University (KSU).

Twenty students and alumna of the Master of Arts in Professional Writing (MAPW) Program at KSU attended the daylong seminar. The workshop, part of the Professional Writing Career Conversations series, is designed as an open forum for graduate students and alumni to discuss topics indirectly covered in the classroom environment. The series creates a community outside of the classroom to help students and alumni connect and network within their chosen professional concentration and launch their own freelance writing practices.

Attendees benefited from the honest and lively exchange with established professionals in the field who shared their knowledge about professional writing as a career. Expert panelists led discussions and exercises and critiqued attendees’ portfolios and writing samples.

"I was both honored and excited to lend my support to this worthwhile program," says Suzanne Wright. "Lending a helping hand to those who are just getting started in their writing careers in gratifying. There was a tremendous pool of talent among both the panelists and attendees, and it was a terrific opportunity for professional collaboration."
