What are “Words With Impact?”
Across mediums, readers demand compelling content. Words With Impact are memorable, persuasive and measurable. Words With Impact resonate with your target audience. Words With Impact change minds. Word With Impact move prospects to act. That’s the kind of copywriting I provide to my clients.

Why do I need a professional copywriter?
For the same reason you need an accountant, an attorney or an IT specialist. Each of us has certain strengths and skills; business flourishes when we stick to our core competencies. Writing is the backbone of all successful communication; all businesses need to convey information effectively and engage their audiences consistently. A good copywriter has specific expertise and an unparalleled commitment to helping you succeed. She’s an invaluable member of your team.

Do you have a specialty?
No. I believe good writing trumps format and supersedes industry. I enjoy the diverse challenge of working with a wide variety of clients, including large companies, small firms and nonprofits. And because I’m not serving the same market day in and day out, my writing stays fresh. That said, I am particularly adept at helping launch or reposition products and services. If you want to overhaul your web content or create new brochure, that’s the kind of challenge I love sinking my teeth into.

What kinds of things do you write?
I’ve written everything from scripts to website content, feature articles to case studies, ad copy to direct mail, grants to press kits—and much more. I’m a versatile generalist with more than 15 years of corporate writing experience. Click here to see my scope.

Why should I hire you?
Beyond possessing academic credentials and real-world experience, I provide my clients with a unique perspective.  I help you organize your thoughts into cohesive, concise content.  I leverage a deep base of knowledge, adapting best practices to each project.  I’m a straight shooter:  proactive, responsive and flexible.  I combine business acumen with creative discipline—merging the best of both for optimum results.

What are your rates?
Good writing is a strategic investment that yields ongoing dividends.  According to Freelance Forum, the majority of experienced copywriters in Atlanta charge between $85-$125 an hour. My rates are competitive.  I quote both hourly and by the project.  And remember that when you hire a copywriter on an as-needed basis, you don’t pay for overhead, benefits or unused productivity.

How will we work together?
Regardless of your level of experience, we’ll discuss your budget, uncover your needs, set project scope, establish key contacts, agree upon a timeline and discuss working style during our initial consultation. We can maintain as much or as little contact as you prefer. Don’t worry if you’re not in Atlanta; I’ve done work for clients I’ve never met. I pride myself on the ability to adapt to your organization’s culture. I’m easy and enjoyable to work with.

Do you team with other creative professionals?
Absolutely! Every good copywriter is a consultant with a network of excellent contacts. I’ll harness graphic designers, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experts, photographers, web designers and public relations professionals to help you achieve your communication goals.
